At the Karma Kafe, a sparkling nightclub located somewhere in universe,

the guests study the many menus before ordering up their next lives.

Enter two newcomers, immature souls, who have gleefully fought and killed

each other life after life.

Two cheerful Staffers decide to slowly introduce them to more civilized ways.

But, in a mix-up, they are assigned lives as Rosalie and Billy, classical musicians –

with a romance between them, no less!   Not surprisingly, tension develops when

they meet as singer and accompanist, and big trouble erupts at their first concert.

The Karma Kafe is always hopping.  At Arrivals, old friends and lovers

meet and remember.  At Departures, they jump off to new beginnings. Some folks

attend Classes in Dreamtime while they sleep, and Personal Guides encourage

and prod their balky charges.

In their dreams, Rosalie and Billy wander in and out of many rooms in the Karma Kafe.

Can these two battling souls find a way to salvage their careers and come

to terms with their unsettling attraction to each other?
